Jan 16:K V P Ramachandra Rao the Congress Rajya Sabha MP and once super extra constitutional authority during YS regime today appeared before the CBI at its camp office Dilkusha Guest house.

He was summoned by the  agency for questioning in the crucial EMAAR Villas scam in which the VVIPs in the guest list of YSR were favored with Villas in the prime EMAAR boulder township at a premium.Rao said he was grilled for over three hours in the guest house and answered questions on all activities of YSR Government in connection with EMAAR and also OMC case.Rao was said to be a crucial member of the YSR kitchen cabinet and also was present  at the high level meeting in which the  EMAAR signed an underhand deal for reducing the Government share from 26 percent to 6 percent .The Koneru Prasad whose agency was hand picked by  YSR to undertake the  retail sale of the Villas minted over  Rs.400 crore of which nearly  200 crore were invested in the Sakshi  group of publications in a Q P Q format .
